JUVENILE INFRACTION

Infractions are not typically heard by the juvenile court.  Most infractions against minors for traffic offenses and violations of local ordinances are usually handled through the adult traffic or infraction court.  In some jurisdictions, infractions may be heard by a juvenile hearing officer.
