A minor arrested for a misdemeanor may have the arrest record and records sealed under certain circumstances.

A minor can seal their juvenile records by filing a petition to seal their records (Welfare & Institutions Code 781).

Parents or guardians may be required to pay specified costs if they have an ability to pay.
